Getting Started

How do I resize my photo for PAN card application?
Go to our PAN Card tool, upload your photo by clicking or dragging it to the upload area. The tool will automatically resize your photo to 197×276 pixels and optimize the file size to 30-45KB. You can crop, rotate, and adjust brightness before downloading the final image.
What is the difference between Photo, Signature, and Document tabs?
Each tab is optimized for different requirements: Photo tab resizes images for ID photos, Signature tab processes signature images with specific dimensions, and Document tab handles PDF files with A4 size requirements. Each has different size limits and quality settings.
How long does it take to process my file?
Processing is instant as everything happens in your browser. Most files are processed within 1-3 seconds. Larger files or complex PDF documents may take up to 10 seconds. No uploading to servers means faster processing.
Can I use this tool without internet connection?
You need internet to initially load the page, but once loaded, the processing happens offline in your browser. Your files are never uploaded, so you can process them even with limited internet connectivity.

File Formats & Sizes

What file formats are supported?
We support all common image formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP, and TIFF. For documents, we support PDF files. The output format is automatically optimized based on your selected document type and requirements.
What is the maximum file size I can upload?
The maximum file size is 10MB for images and documents. This is sufficient for high-quality photos and multi-page PDF documents. If your file is larger, try compressing it first or use a different image with lower resolution.
Why does my image look blurry after resizing?
Blurriness occurs when enlarging very small images. For best results, use high-resolution source images (at least 300 DPI). Our algorithms preserve quality as much as possible, but extremely small source images will appear blurry when enlarged to required dimensions.
Can I customize the output file size?
For specific document types (PAN Card, Election Card, etc.), file sizes are preset to meet standard requirements. For custom resizing, use our Custom Image Resizer tool where you can set exact dimensions and target file sizes.

Security & Privacy

Is my data safe when using this tool?
Yes, completely safe. All processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device and are not uploaded to any server. This ensures 100% privacy and security of your documents.
Do you store or save my uploaded files?
No, we don't store any files. Since processing happens in your browser, files are only temporarily loaded into your device's memory during processing. Once you close the browser tab, all data is automatically cleared.
Can I trust this tool with sensitive documents?
Yes, the client-side processing means your sensitive documents never leave your device. This is actually more secure than services that upload files to servers. Your documents remain on your device throughout the entire process.
Do you collect any personal information?
We only collect anonymous usage statistics through cookies (which you can disable). We don't collect names, emails, or any personal information. No account creation is required to use our tools.
